That St. Louis Ford plant is really close to my house. If it closes, Then my area is going to be hurting seriously.

[QUOTE=captain howdy]Thats what the movie Tucker would like you to beleive but it had its fair share of problems. The main one I know about was his moving headlight in the middle didn't work correctly. There is nothing special or spaceage about Tuckers just a moving third headlight and a large engine in the back. Tuckers also have one of the stupidest ideas I have ever heard of on a car, pop up tail lights. He just couldn't compete with the larger manufacturers, had tax issues, and had labor issues. QUOTE]

Yeah but if he knew that a tucker value today is around 200K to 250K I think he would of made more. Then again there were only 50 ever made.

If he had made more than 50 they would probably be roting in yards somewhere just like any other late 40's car. Of course there would be some in the hands of collectors and some still on the road. He lost his business after those 50 so I'm sure he would have made more if possible.

Ford Plant in Hapeville, Georgia is closing. My father worked there in the 50's. It is sad to see a institution and land mark of metro Atlanta done away with.

I live on the Gwenette Co. Line next to a Town called Loganville. Monroe, Georgia. I know quite a few policemen in Gwennette.
