free weather channel on xm radio

I did not renew my xm radio last year but I just found that I have the weather channel on channel X1 for free? Maybe xm is doing this for hurricane Irene and it will only be temporary? any one else find this?

Yeah I think it was for the duration of the hurricane, but maybe XM is doing it out of the goodness of their hearts...what am I saying?
