Front Hub Replacement Recomendations

I believe I need to replace the front hubs on my daughters HHR.
I am getting the ESC Active over 25 mph and it does sound like a roar coming from the passenger wheel.
These symptoms are leading me to believe I should replace the hubs.

I have watched the videos and read the how to's on this site and is a DIYer.
However I would appreciate recommendations for the hub parts. I have looked at the prices for both MOOG and GM 22715554. $$$$$$!!

2009 2.2 L LT with ABS, Traction Control and ESC. 150k+ miles and we have only had the vehicle for the past 2 years putting only 10K.

Any help you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated!

I installed Timken and so far they are doing just fine.
Purchased from RockAuto and don't forget the discount code.

Most of them come from China. You can pay GM $360 each or you can pay ebay $36 each. You can buy 10 from ebay for the price of 1 at GM, even if they are junk you come out ahead..
ACDelco wants $369 for front and $200 for rear. I have no idea why that difference. Almost everything made of steel comes from China, including Moog. We print pretty boxes to put them in.

There are less expensive and in the middle prices , Timken are good as Donbrew mentioned they are pretty much all the same, I’ve replace AC Delco after 45,000 miles and have had TRW fail after 75,000 miles, it all depends on the road surface and how many potholes you are victimized by.

Ebay is a crap shoot, especially when it comes to warranty replacement.

I really appreciate the responses. Getting responses from you guys really makes me appreciate this forum. I know I haven't posted much - but that is because you guys provide such great knowledge and instruction that I haven't needed additional clarification.

I will wait for the official diagnostic from the dealer (took it in this morning for a radiator flush and tranny drain/fill (your recommendations :) )
Then I will order the parts from RockAuto.
Thanks!

Based on our informative “how to” library, you could have changed the transmission fluid and filter, and the Dexcool, yourself and saved enough for the hubs.

you are not wrong - but I have had issues with plumbing!
I believe the cooling system has a mix of different antifreeze types which is why the ACDelco thermostat I replaced 11 months ago conked out. So I wanted them to do the flush to make sure to get it all out.

I have not had luck resealing the tranny pan in my past autos - and since this is going to college - 24 hours away - I wont be there to help my daughter if something happens. I am paying for the reassurance. :)

Good idea, you have to know your limitations!

The usual source of pans leaking is not using a torque wrench. If you blindly tighten the bolts you deform the metal of the pan, it does not take much torque, 106 lb inch.

ACDelco brand t-stat is not enough; it must be 131-158. They sell different qualities that "fit".

New 50/50 Dexcool every 5 years , good maintenance and piece of mind, the stuff does have a shelf life of 5 years .
