Full length cargo mat

Full length cargo mat
I typically drive around with my rear seats folded to keep them clean and to take in the most of the subwoofer. The problem is the hard plastic on the back of the seats, which my dogs can't grip on and boxes slide everywhere.
I found a company that sells 1/4" sheet rubber and they had a free shipping special. It's pressed gound epdm rubber and is avail. with color flecks to match interiors (good selection, but extra $). 10ft X 48" min. order.
The results:
Just no easy access to the little hidy lockers, and considering a slice to allow individual seat operation.
Oh, this uses just half the roll, so pm me if interested

Pretty slick!
Since i will prob never have any passengers in the rear seats, a mat like that will prob convince me to leave the seats down 24/7. (IMO, looks kinda funky with no carpet etc on the rear seat backs, hence my leaving the rear seats up). Kinda looks better considering the stock choices.
Even was thinking about getting carpet close to what i have in the rear cargo area, and install it on the rear seat backs.I'm sure GM had a reason for not carpeting this area, not sure what it is tho.

How about passing along the info of the place you you got this from? Local?
Cost too, if you don't mind.

Great idea. You could also get some black carpet to match your interior. Many shops will edge it for a nominal fee so it looks factory and it dosent fray. I did that for my little floor mats. Factory was expensive, and I wanted black which was not available until recently. I bought one large enough to fit, then had a friend that owns a custom upholstry shop put edging on it.

Since the HHR replaced my Silverado, I needed a more utilitarian surface for hauling (sometimes somewhat wet) crap and carpet is clingy to dog hair and dried vegetation it'll get trashed. And cardboard boxes still slide on carpet.

Sheesh
Reed-
They never even popped up in my searches, but that's sweet. My only concern would have been the price, as I was able to make 2 due to min. order for $39 less with their shipping.
Need necessitaded speed, not as pretty but still as functional. I guess I should have thrown the question to the forum. Live and learn
