Exclamation Fuse box wiring harness

Ok. Here it goes. I had a relative put a toggle switch on my 96 chevy corsica 2.2L 4 cyl. Automatic on the radiator fan. The nimrod didnt put a fuse in the wiring so yep you guessed it! It shorted out the ground ,burned the battery up, along with the instrument panel ,AC blower motor and dashcontrols and the underthe hood fusebox. So my question is.... I want to attempt to rewire the harness and i need to know what the parts name are and some of the technical terminology . Can anyone help me out here please? Ive got to much money in her (Ruby) my car to let this be the end. I know i can get 100k more miles outta her. No one believes it can be done but i have faith and confidence i can get this accomplished . Any and all info. Pics too would be a greatly appreciated. I figure im gonna have to spend a few hundred on her. Everyone acts like this is an impossible feat. I refuse to believe them and am not in denial. Will anyone help me with say part #s ,terminology. I will send pics and let you all know how it goes. Lets get this baby up and running the way she used to before all this radiator fan toggle switch mess. Oh yeah , my TCM is stuck because off the meltdown. Has no way of getting proper volt

Wrong forum. Read the description above. “Not a forum to ask how to do something”
Wrong car. This is a website about the 2006-2011 Chevy HHR. 96 Corsica ??? Not even sure what platform that is.
We really couldn’t help you anyway. Once you start hacking, butchering, screwing up your own car well——Good Luck
I suggest you find another website.

Welcome to the site, I suggest you get relative to pay for the repairs he caused. As for terminology, it’s wiring harness, fuse block and relays. We specifically deal with the Chevrolet HHR on this site. You might find a wiring harness at a parts website. I’m not sure why a switch would be installed, obviously a bad idea.

On the other hand, there is a link in my sig to free shop manuals for most vehicles.
