That doesn't sound right. You would end up with a number higher than were even made in that model...

But correct me if I'm wrong.

So if I have a 2008 HHR SS .. Black Ext / Black and Red Interior .. 5spd trans .. it is somewhat rare? 4519 hhr ss made in 2008 .. 28.1 percent had 5spd .. so thats 160 ??

28% of 4519 is 1265

Take the number (4519) times it by the percentage (28%) in decimal so (.28) equals your answer.
4519 x .28 = 1265

thanks for catching my bad math, i was half asleep last night when i was on here looking at this ...

needless to say .. so 1265 had 5spd ... now how many of that were Black/Red Interior?

Im trying to get a idea on how many like mine were made

The best way is to identify the option that has the lowest % produced. You said black/red interior which is showing 27.4%. Find an option with the smallest percentage and multiply that against the number made. You'll know the maximum number that were made.

But you can't accurately narrow it down from there with this information. You can start running probability statistics from there, but it is a best guess at that point.
