Thanks for the info guys!
Hows the ride? Well it depends on the road, lol. If you travel on smooth roads the ride is great, but if its a nice bumpy, crappy road you tend to feel every little bump, some harsher than the others.

I sure hope this isn't something I'm going to regret, I will be carrying an extra 100 pounds or so when I start back to work, this shouldn't make it squat too much should it? I seen someone on here with a few landscape timbers hanging out the rear 4-6' and it was still sittin pretty level, that made up my mind. Now I'm hoping it wasn't sitting on the bump stops. lol

Sorry bassbase did not see your post last nite. I saw the leveling springs but did not think they would put it quite as low as I wanted it at as they are only 1.5 - 1.75 at least this way I can see how it sits before I do the fronts, and it was only $50 more to get the ful kit, can't really go wrong this way. Thanks for the heads up though!

When I had my other HHR that was lowered(the one in my signature) once a month I would haul 500lbs of salt in the back for my water softener, and it pretty much just leveled the back end out with the front. Lowering the front and rear you will still have a lil bit of a rake to the car. What wheels do you have on your HHR?

Just remember when you move up to 18's, you loose some of your ride quality too because you will have less sidewall to cushion the ride.

Bummer! hopefully it looks good with these wheels after dropping it, I really like these for being stock, and im pretty picky about wheels.

I never had much of a ride difference loaded or unloaded once I lowered mine. Lowered and unloaded felt the same as lowered and loaded with 200lbs of band equipment loaded up every weekend for shows.
I am moving from the factory 17" chrome wheels to 18" black chrome Cobalt wheels next week in a trade wth a Cobalt SS owner from work.
