If I did not get the HHR, the Monte SS was my next choice. Best of luck with it, and pic's please!

I guess I got lucky... I have been trying to talk 'mama' into some sort of vehicle that would be good for traveling. We took our old street rod truck to the Western Nationals a few months ago and they gave away an HHR. She saw it and liked it! We just picked one up for her this week. I'm going to love customizing it right beside my 34 Ford coupe!

I wouldn't mind having a Monte Carlo. Not a totally bad trade-off you made. Stick around anyway... I'm new here but it looks like a pretty friendly place.

Goldy,

Stick around dude!

We bought a new Monte back in 81 and loved it... WOW.

And I said before, we gave up the 04 Impala to get our R.

Been there done that. Keep her happy, it's way easier!

Hey galladanb... I used to live right out in the middle of Hendersonville, Goodlettsville, and Gallatin! I miss it. I bought an 87 Aerocoupe from Jim Fite over in Hendersonville about 6 years ago. I still have it at my place in GA. Nothing wrong with having a Monte and an HHR.
