Thank you all for your concerns on the weather conditions that hit the area...luckily I have a 97 Jeep Cherokee to drive if its bad. And the Miata does have traction control and DSC for stability. In fact I noticed today as I was coming down the mountain...at 80 I hit the brake and the car immediately slipped from 6th gear to 5th...to help me slow down. Once I took my foot of the brake, a second later it went back into 6th. All the while it stayed at 80. It only does that going down hill. Smart lil booger!!

ENJOY THE NEW RIDE!
If you only need a car that small, go for it! I would be there too, but need a family car.
As mentioned above, be careful on slick roads, they are light cars and can get you in trouble. Heck, I think the HHR is kinda light
Pop back when ya can.

Hey Snoopy, whatchya got being built?

Very sexy color. I like the new ones with the retractable hardtops.

As long as you're happy...that's all that matters. Have fun with your new ride and don't be a stranger.

No need to leave...I didn't! I don't post here as much and I've joined up on the Nitro forum as well. I still think that the HHR is cool car, but I also understand the like versus the love! Have fun...I hope to have something zippy in my garage at some point in my life
