Can someone tell me how to take the headliner down in the front.

 

You have to remove the pillars, and visors. It will then pull down some. be careful though, the material its made of will bend/crack.

 

what are you trying to do? I can let you know what needs to be done. Or you can go to my cardomain. It's the orange hhr with the black 20'' and I have pictures of the head liner out

Mike is correct, you have to be very carefull. There is only room for a hand, and just barely. I loosened the B pillars to let it drop a bit more, but it didn't help much. I was changing the LED to a high intensity blue, and without a sunroof, the only way to get to it is from the top.
