Exclamation Ceiling liner

Does anyone know if a ceiling liner, aka, what is above your head at all times while driving, is covered under warranty? I bought my Shadow Edition 3.5 months ago, and at the time it didn't bother me, but there are black and grey and brown scuffs everywhere on it. It's becoming an annoyance more and more.
At first I didn't care because I had a new car, but now its just gross, and I wanna get it swapped if its possible to under warranty..

Boy 1151, I'm not sure the warranty will cover evidence of the previous owners carelessness, but maybe the dealer will work with you on the replacement. I think for the warranty to kick in it would have to be defective in some way. like falling down around your ears. Probably the best place to start is the service department to see it they can clean it and bring it back to like new for you. Now that's out of the way, have a very Merry Christmas 1151, hope its a wonderful day for you and yours.

Scuffs/marks would be physical damage and that's not covered by warranty.

Well that's not the only thing. The headliner near the sunroof is being held up by velcro.. is that OEM? If that gets loose it looks like it will fall. And it looks like maybe the dealership did it to get a quick fix to get the car up for sale.

Nope, that is OEM. All are held up with the velcro.

I would think so. I don't know why they went with the velcro. I would try 3M double sided tape used for holding badges/emblems on cars. I think it would be strong enough and hold instantly.

Well it looks like it was glued to the tape which was held together by velcro?

Ive done a few headliners, and some repairs..best way to retak the headliner is with 3m 77 adhesive spray..dont use the 99..they say its better I say the 77 works much better..spray both areas and let it "tack up" a few minutes before you smooth it down...as for just cleaning it..Im assuming the scuffs are from hair dye or some other type of personall hair grooming product??or are they grease stains??headliners are very prone to sagging if they ever get wet..thats what makes them so hard to clean but if u can find an appolstry foam that dries quikly or do it on an extremely hot day..the stuff I use is called "carpet science"..this stuff will remove even dry blood stains!!!its awsum and dries very fast...not sure if u can get ur hands on some...this may be a great chance for you to make a custom headliner...not as hard of a job as it seems..Duplicolor has many shades of fabric dye in spray form..(not like paint..that stuff goes stiff)
maybe an easy way to cover up the scuffs..possible color change??add "OFFICER" logo..I can see it now..be way cool.p.s. if you use the spray adhesive..mask off everything else..the stuff is a bit messy
