Headlight replacement

x2 - just go buy the standard H13 bulbs. Don't waste your money on the high output ones - as Cat Man says, they don't last that long.
Remember to ensure that the gasket for the old bulb comes out with the bulb, as putting the new one in with the old gasket in place will make it an impossible task.
For best results, replace in pairs, and keep the working old one as an emergency spare.

H13 = 9008 part number
Agree best replaced in pairs and keep a spare. The H13 part number fooled me for awhile as it's compatible with H9008
Shop around because they tend to be pricey if you buy the premium light intensity.
I have a new pair in garage from online seller and saved $20 plus over the local OTC suppliers locally.
I buy the economical option(s), because of the traffic here. Hardly get to use the brights anymore.
Install being aware of sticky gasket is CRITICAL and you have to contort your hand into tight space you can't see. Try to visualize the way it came out and get new one back in without touching the bulb glass. Easy stuff

Always keep receipts on all light bulbs, especially headlight bulbs. If they carry a one-year warranty, you will definitely appreciate the free exchange. Another tip: if you buy the 2-pack of headlight bulbs and one of them fails in less than a year, the merchant REQUIRES that you return both light bulbs for exchange! Even though one of them still works, you must return both.
