I have an 06 2lt. My seats have worked fine until recently. Every time I turn on the drivers seat it heats up for a bit then the lights start blinking and it stops heating. I can shut it off and turn it back on again and it works for a bit then the blinking starts and it shuts off again. Any thoughts?

 

mine does that every once in a while. i think maybe it thinks its over heating or something. mine has stopped doing it recently

 

Check for proper operation of the heated seat module first.If that checks good then inspect the heater grids in the seat.

 

Mine also did this once. It started blinking and I shut it off and turned it back on and it worked fine. I've never had a problem with it since. I figured that maybe a maximum heat was reached and it decided to shut itself down for safety reasons.
