Hey guys tel me about the SS

I had a 2.4 years ago and it was riddled with issues. From the shifter to the leaky roof and the steering column. But I loved the car. Flash foward I picked up a 2010 Infinity EX35. VERY nice car but I don't need $23,000 sitting in my garage not being used but maybe 80 miles a week. Sold my Tacoma and bought this from a relative for a little above what the dealer offered ACV wholesale.

I saw this and may take a ride up tomorrow and see if they will cut me a check for $10,000 and swap but I know nothing about the SS except that it has 4 wheel disc brakes which solves the warping rotor issue. I holf the title to all my vehicles so this would be a cash deal.

Does it have the same issue as the 2lt or is it better made?

This is the car I am looking at

I only need a hobby car as I am retired and the Infiniti is wasted on me as much as the Tacoma was. I only bought it because it was cheaper than dealers were asking....$22500K vs $26 and $27K retail. This is what I would be giving up......Crazy? or smart move.

Sweet car I know and 0-60 in 6.7 sec.....But I want something I can throw a bag of mulch in the back without feeling bad and a "hobby car" at 59 and retired I need something to do. The Infiniti is just a driver's car and I don't drive as much as I ride my bike. I puit about 4000-6000 miles a year on a car

I like my SS and sorry but my 2LT has ran perfect. Thats a nice ride for 23k, but I think a SS with a tune is way more fun, as you know I'm a fan....

Most who have had LS or LT that have test driven an SS want one.
Finding one for a good price that hasn't been abused is the hard part.

Most SS's on Cars are between 12 and 16k

If you find one you have to pounce.

I remember the whole Tacoma series threads seems like it was just yesterday.

But anyway that looks like a nice car, I'd probably just drive it.
Money sitting in the garage or in the bank, what is the difference.
