Hhr 2006 accident in 2012

Hi everyone!!
My husband was hit on Valentines day 2 years ago. He couldnt move and was hit by another car. They wrote my husband the ticket for obstructing traffic. The car was totaled and they got us into a new one pretty fast. Kinda interesting now that I think back as to how quickly they did it. Is there any way that we can file a suit against GM with all the others? We were having that jerking like it was a stick shift and it acted like it was gonna stall out a lot before that, we just thought maybe we got bad gas or needed a tune up. Now that all this is coming up we are pretty mad. We have another one now. We have a 2011 and it does the same thing a little but not as bad as the other one.

You need to talk to a lawyer, not ask people on a forum. There are a few lawyers here for sure, but most will be reluctant to make a comment with skimpy details like you provided. You didn't even mention what suit you are talking about.

X2 on what whopper said.

And if the car was totaled 2 years ago, since you don't have it anymore, then you don't have the "evidence" anymore.

Since you are considering a law suit, what was it that you think GM did to make it their fault? You need to show that they were negligent.

Don't waste your money on lawyers until you investigate whether you have something to base a suit on.

Marzipan - you really do not want to post your email address(s) on an open forum like that - it's an open invite to spam slagging your in-boxes.

2 years ago was the Old GM now after the bankruptcy the New GM would not be responsible and you did settle for a replacement from "they" which was most likely your auto insurance company, so in effect you have settled, case closed

gmail and yahoomail are junk emails as far a I'm concerned in that they can be changed or deleted at any time with no real problems because they're not tied to an individuals IP. I'm sure he doesn't use either of those as his main email.

True that. However lately there has been quite a few new members registering, using their email address as their MEMBER name - and we have been discouraging it for obvious reasons. :)
