Welcome to the site.

We moved your posting out of the "Featured HHR" section to here, where it will more likely receive a response from the members that monitor this section. :)

Generally most people think that the "chip" is a waste of money - but give the SEARCH function near the top of the page and look for [chip] - it has been discussed before and some of the responses are quite interesting.

You can also do a search for [roof racks] - there is a posting in the "How-to" section on installing them if I remember correctly. A number of people have been finding original ones at auto wreckers - I am not sure if they are still available from Chevrolet - other members might be able to steer you in the right direction as well.

The Wonder Chip! No I don't think so. As one member on this forum said: "If a chip like that worked, GM would have used it".

Also, look around the internet and Youtube videos. There are a pair of guys that test these so-called wonder chips and electronic supercharger devices and they debunk them with dyno tests, etc as you watch. Great guys. As far as the electronic supercharger; they hooked up two leaf blowers and got more of a boost.

Those ads shouldn't be allowed here but they pay the bills I guess.

Welcome to the site. What kind of milage are you getting and what kind of driving? I recently got 33.8 on I-81 from Roamnoke going to York Pa through Gettys burg. I-81 was 70 a lot of the way. 30 in Pa was 25 to 55.

Fuel economy is all about driving habits. GM for sure spent way more money on R&D for fuel economy than you would on the $60 miracle chip. Cars are optimized for the best economy possible.

I can get 28 or so with my daily commute which is 15 minutes of city driving and 15 minutes of hey driving (45mph+) for a total of 25 miles a day.

And as stated, there might be 100 threads on economy

There are these. It is a piggyback chip for your car PC. I have had the stage 1 for 4 years now. It's basically a pretune or you can do it yourself. You can find these on the internet in the low $200 range. You also get a cute little sticker to put on your window. Did not want the stage 2, as it requires high test.

Well just noticed this link does not carry you to the chip, but you can find it once on their site.

roof rack won't help your MPG

make sure your tires are properly inflated and keep under 70 mph on the interstate
