HHR discontinued
Yes, 2011 is the last year. The Delta platform which the HHR is built on is outdated, old technology. The HHR was built by the "old GM" before they filed for bankruptcy. It has been discussed many a time before. Not giving you a hard time, but here is more information on it than you probably care to read:

to the forum Jim Gillum! The last HHR purred off the line on May 27, 2011. Why it went away was a combination of the "end of retro", the demise of the Delta platform chassis architecture, and no place in Chevrolet's marketing strategy for the future...to name just a few reasons.
Here's a thread for you, and be sure to check out the sub-threads linked in Post #2.....

My wife has the "nicer" of the two cars, being a 2011 Cruze... but she still envies my 2LT HHR. :)
I look at all the cars at the shows and on FleaBay, the classics that have been taken care of and driven gently for decades, especially the limited production ones, and that's what I'm thinking about when I settle into my leather seats. One of these days, Herman's gonna be one of those cars.
Just gotta live that long, myself.

That's the attitude spacer, I see myself as the odd little old man explaining that "funny looking trucklet" to the kids in 40 years time. And you know what, I still won't have my "Atomic Powered Flying Rocket Car", like I was promised in grade school.

Look at the bright side: at least you got one before they were discontinued...
