Thanks for the advice blue, I've got a plastic battery box with a vent on it. Gonna vent it into the vertical sheetmetal connecting the 2 floor heights.

I appreciate it CA!! I'm pretty stoked about the gauges, I love how they turned out.

Figured I would go ahead and put my big wire loom on, was avoiding it as long as possible. Had to disconnect the starter, undo all my hold downs, and pull all the wiring out, then slide it all through. Had to poke the headlight wires through, and 3 wires going to the engine. I'm happy with it, looks much better than it did. And at least it' somewhat protected now. As long as it doesn' break down in 2 years from the sun I'll be happy.

Got the back floor and frame all welded up. All I need to do now is seal up my seams, and undercoat everthing underneath. Got a hold of some nice tongue and groove redwood, Im gonna cover the steel floors with it. Will provide a little sound deadening, and will keep things from sliding around. I think its gonna look nice.

Got rained out this afternoon, but i'm ready to permanently install the fuel cell.

Thanks Whopper!! If the good Lord's willing and the creeks dont rise, we might be cruising the open road before too long

That is an old country saying. The origin goes back to the 1700s. It was lord willing and the Creeks don't uprise. It was a reference to the Creek Indians. I have a book on the origins of sayings.

Got the fuel cell permanently mounted, my battery wires lengthened, figured out where my battery is gonna be mounted, and got the wood screwed down in the very back. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get the wood installed in the front, and get my air cleaner mounts made up.
