Found some inner fenders from an 80's model chevy truck. They had square corners and flat edges for how they mounted. I trimmed a good bit off into a shape that would give me protection and allow the wheels to turn fully. They arent the prettiest, but I like em. I'll sand them down and paint them after i get my mounts made up.

Got the exhaust finished and the fenders painted. Getting closer every day.

 

The optical illusion in the first pic looks really good. The headlights appear to be faired into the fenders.

really u just built a v-8 hhr in no time and u can't mod some headlights ,lol u CAN do it !!! it does have a cool look in that pic

 

Thanks for the encouragement! Once I'm back home and get my shop built I can start tinkering with ideas
