HHR Named one of Ugliest Cars for 2010

According to an article written for Forbes.com, the HHR is considered one of the ugliest cars produced. In that article they list the Honda Element, Nissan Cube, Scion Xb, Mazda 8, Ford Flex, and Acura ZDX among others.

My feeling is they like "cookie cutter" cars that all look the same and are pure vanilla. Mazda 8 - I've always liked that car.

Sounds like we should all go out and purchase an Aveo, a Prius, a Jeep Liberty or something like that.

I've really tried to think of what I would replace my HHR with, and although I'd like another "look" someday, there is nothing on the market as practical as the HHR.

Maybe the writer should drive an SS and then report back.

Maybe its just me I could have issues I like the way all those cars look love the funky wrap around window on the cube the suicide doors on the element but my fav is the old school look of the HHR and the SS especially its a screamig good time send him over I'll take him for a spin in the ugly short bus.

Don't get me wrong, I love the HHR, but I think they screwed up the old school look with the SS. BUT, I'd still kill for a blue flash metallic AA5 5spd SS!

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. With as many of the "ugly" cars on that list that are on the road, it's apparent not too many agree with them.

Ugly! Utter blasphemy! A maroon PT with the simulated woody decals, a chromed roof rack, flames, and Yosemite Sam mudflaps is ugly. An HHR is a thing of beauty even in SERVPRO vomit green.
