Can't get running boards with the Shadow Edition. The most disappointing thing to me is you can't get the Enhanced Safety Package either.

I was really liking this, sight unseen, until I read the above about the Enhanced Safety Package. May have to stop by the dealer tomorrow to see if there is a way around it.

 

Hmm, so I wonder what the ground effects are that it would cause it not to be able to be had with running boards. NO RUNNING BOARDS=NO SHADOW EDITION FOR ME

 

They're probably the same ground effects used on the SS...very suitable replacement for the regular running boards.

 

I wouldn't let the lack of running boards stop me from buying this special edition, if it has the SS ground effects I'm sure many out there would trade them for the boards, a little paint & you're in business!

 

New owners of this edition can sing.... "Me and myy..... Shadow"

 

I'll have to see one in person to decide whether running boards or ground effects. I'm a visual kinda guy. The lack of running boards isn't keeping me from buying the Shadow, it's the lack of Enhanced Safety Package that's causing me to rethink.

I talked to the dealer near me about getting the Enhanced Safety Package with the Shadow, he said no, but I know dealers have done special order overrides before, just gotta find one that will.

 

What does the "Enhanced Saftey Package" cosist of?
