My Insurance also classified my HHR as a Wagon.......not sure if it makes any difference in the premiums you pay though. I would actually imagine that it would cost more for a SUV or Light Truck, than for a Wagon or Car....Does anyone know anyone in the Insurance business that can find out????

If you want to hear something really weird, I have been thinking it is a light truck the whole time because of my insurance. I just got my new registration in the mail today and my NY registation has it listed as a four door sedan. So I guess I drive a four door light sedan truck?

Allstate in FLA considers it a light truck as well, and for rull coverage for the year I pay $632.00. SUV's are more here! I paid that every 6 months for my SUV or for my minivan. (of course I don't have either of them anymore.....but I am not complaining I got my HHR!)

I like to say its a Mini-SUV

Show me how many SUV's can get 30+ mpg highway!

Technically, I think its the coolest looking station wagon around!

You probably tricked them! That's a great rate for a whole year! I just paid $1000.00 for mine....but I also have some stuff that some might not feel necessary but lady fenrir sometimes is a perpetual worry-wart! Which is good, because I like the Flaming Carrot - The Wild Shall Wild Remain! hahaha!

It's the wagon version of the cobalt in a fancy retro skin.

Just be thankful they got more creative than the previous Cavalier Wagon.

If GM fans argue about the Honda Ridgeline being a truck or not, sure the HHR has a better case for not being one.

As for an SUV that gets 30 MPG, Saturn VUE.
