How long is the warranty on the 2008 HHR?
Also, my Chey dealer is doing some major work to my engine(32,000 miles), will Chevy extend the warranty on the repairs?

 

Bumper to Bumper, 3/36000
Powertrain, 5/100000

All dealer installed warranty parts, end with the normal warranty.

 

Standard warranty for the '08.....


Drivetrain......5 year or 100,000 miles (which ever comes first)

General warranty.....3 year or 36,000 miles (which ever comes first)


Extending the warranty after Major Engine repair is generally NOT done. Sometimes, however, it is a negotiable item....sometimes it is done as a courtesy.

 

Great....I was wondering about that too. Ours is an 08, hope she holds up. we just hit 37k right before 36k we had the steering column replaced and swaybar links and a new strut. Dang Colorado roads out here are so screwed up. Cheers to extended comprehensive warranty! hope it's worth it.
