Cool Lean and Green

Green has always be a slow seller. It has been one of the least favorite colors for cars for years. White is the most common. Green is one of the least common. I used to have a Chevy Vega- 1976 Met. Green. I liked it but boy was that color rare.

So now I have Amethyst! Purple!

Thank God I'm part color blind.

I'm sure the low popularity is a big part of "NO Green."

Teal!

Combine your green with Daytona Blue and you get:

Chevy sold one heck of a lot of vehicles in this color in the 90's.

For many years, in the stock car racing field, you never saw a race car painted green. It was considered bad luck at the time. However in recent years, I see some green race cars. I have told this to some younger people who have never heard of this before. I often wondered how this got started.

Maybe Chevy is saving green for a future hybrid HHR?

I have a green truck right now and if HHR had a green I would be more inclined to buy. I also thought, why no green most were green back then. I like that blue-green. I'll show it to the wife, I know she will love it.

I LOVE the green and Daytona Blue together! That looks really sharp! But I'm sticking to my PURPLE, lol.

I was one of the first in So Cal to get a Camaro with the new dark metallic teal 1990--I bought it seeing the color only in the brochure. When I went to pick it up 6 weeks later, I could hardly get to the car there were so many salespeople and customers gathered around it gawking. Needless to say I floated home, loving the stares I got for months to come. I had people constantly leaving notes on my car praising the color. The best part was, on a Friday my GF and I pulled up to a burger joint for some eats and didn't know there was a hot rod club gathering there. Must have had 15 sweet rides in the parking lot and when I pulled in most of them came over to my Camaro, wanted me to pop the hood, etc. They couldn't believe it was a stock color from Chevy. I cried when I traded that sucker in for a Ford Exploder.

Yeah, I would go for green!
