Hi!

Just picked up my HHR LT tonight. Like it a lot, especially compared to my old pick up truck.

I got the 2.4 liter which recommends premium. Does anybody really put premium in these things?

thanks!

Dory has the 2.4 also, and runs just fine on the lesser grades. Not that I don't treat her to some of the good stuff every so often.

Welcome, I put premium in it couple times in a row once in awhile. Unless it is more then $3.00 a gallon then it is 87octane, I refuse to pay more then that.

Welcome. I don't go above 89 or 90. It always runs good with that. Good luck with the new HHR!

I run 93 at half I fill with 87, I only put about 30 miles a week on the car so gas is not a huge expense. I ride the bike to work most days,

Costco Premium is the price of everyone else's Reg.

Does anyone notice a power difference between 87 and 93?
