Wow 20 ... What I thought as quite an achievement didn't last long.

Well ...Second place is not too bad ??

Guess I better keep lookin around ....

Hoping wife doesn't hear about this or I might have to re-read the posts on sleeping in my HHR.

I did not clean the throttle body yet but am keeping it in mind.
I did replace the air filter and take the HHR out for some heavy throttle runs to loosen up things a bit.
I think it was driven lightly for a long time as the sales person told me about the prior older lady owner.
I have now run about 12 gallons of Techron fuel thru it and it seems like it is getting better.
I think my next fill up tomorrow will bring the majority of fuel in the tank up to fresh 92 octane and I plan to add a double shot of Bell Performance Mix-I-Go instead of Techron for this tank full. This is a Commercial Grade Gas and Ethanol Treatment with quality detergents.

In the mean time I am slowly working thru my bucket list.
Got all my loose lower body plastic rivets fixed today. The rear panels were really loose but everything is tight now.
Also got the rear of the muffler painted. Looks much better.

The missing link is the throttle body.

Your probably right Blue but I want to get all the other bucket items done first since it is showing some improvement.
Made the decision yesterday to go ahead and sell the tires and 17" OEM Alloy wheels soon, replacing with New Dorman 5 spoke 16" steelies and Chrome wheel covers, New Dorman lug nuts and GM TPMS sensors.
I think I will separate the wheels out and sell them. Might list them here, then sell the tires by themselves. They are near new 215/50R/17 Falkens.
I plan to put on 205/60R/16 Michelin Ice 3 for the winter season. I had them on my last HHR and the one before with no complaints.

Blue,

What TB Cleaner do you use ??

I Want it here for when I get the urge.

One thing that makes me wonder a bit on the Throttle Body is the idle speed and dead idle smoothness are perfect.
Also this HHR actually does not have a major reaction to go to "rougher idle" when you turn the AC on. Some I have owned make you cringe when you switched on the AC or inside air however the idle would usually settle down a bit after a little time to adjust.
