Even sadder that the model designation is incorrect, it’s a 1LT!
glad you got the brakes replaced now what about the ball joints and struts?

My rotors were replaced a few weeks ago. I can't remember if I posted pics of them...but I thought they looked pretty awesome!

I bought these high performance rotors on eBay. I ordered them on a Saturday and they were delivered on Monday. The cost was $49.89 delivered! It helped that the company selling them was probably 30 miles away.

Only 146,000 on a 2008 LT., a new rental return. A few small dings, the thing is a door banger magnet in parking lots. Runs perfect, have replaced rotors 3 times, still shudders a little bit but not bad. . Worst problem was when local gas station filled their regular tanks with diesel fuel. Station paid for cleaning out the fuel system. Shortly after, cat went out, I blame it on the diesel.

Have a look at the LCA’s rear bushings and the ball joints for that shake, also the upper engine mount!
Yea, diesel will kill the catalytic converter! That station should pay for that!

I just hopped in my car to go to work. I'm a numbers freak...I love it when it's all zeroes!

Yeah... nearly 11:30pm and still 83 degrees. I am sick of this heat!

Just saw this old thread today and wanted to add to it.

211k miles 08 LT sport 2.4L. First car my grandma ever bought new, I bought it for sentimental reasons from my grandpa after she passed with just over 100k on it. They bought it because it was a turbo, turns out it’s not even a turbo!

-Front cv axles leaked, went ahead and got struts and shocks too
-O2 sensor. Cheap and easy fix for a big problem (stalling on the road)
-Intake and exhaust solenoid replacement fixed engine light a couple of times
-Exhaust manifold crack and bad tensioner/pulley together sounded like it was on its deathbed lol
-Valve cover gasket leaked oil down onto the spark plugs at one point causing long start and a rough ride
-Replaced timing chain, guides, and tensioner as a preventative at ~175k miles. Good thing I did because the guides were broken but it still ran somehow.
-Small things like the dome light switch, mirror adjustment switch, regular maintenance, etc.
-ABS currently needs fixing, it may activate for even the smallest amount of braking or may not activate at all, causing unpredictable stopping distance

Overall I still consider it reliable because what seems like a big problem pretty much never is.

I saw oldblue posted on here. Curious for an update on the odometer and any major problems since 2014!
