I bought my Canadian lt with the 2.4 5 speed manual. Just turning over 480,000 km or roughly 300,00 miles. Still on the original clutch that will slip if abused very hard but does not in every day driving. Getting a bit of knocking at very light acceleration which is likely either wrist pin wear/piston slap or timing chain/guides wear. I picked up a used 2.4 with 65,000 km last summer and a new clutch but have not put them in yet. I still plan to run this for 1 more year or so to hit at least 600,000 km.
Only problems I have had are front swaybar links - (I finaly just removed one of the links and disabled the sway bar (well over 250,000 km ago) which was only noticeable on the most harsh turns. Both front wheel bearings once and just have purchased another as one is making a bit of noise.
Struts and shocks.brakes and tires as any other car.
This has been the most reliable vehicle I have ever run. I hope my new outback is anywhere close as reliable.

I have 97K on my 06. Starting to show it's age. Just little stuff. I'll fix it and go another 97K.

Smile High miles

I have a 2010 with 156k on it..because I drive for a living I change the brake pads very frequently. The engine has gone low power on me,transmission beginning to leak, suspension changed..but still running strong. I hope it takes me to 250 plus.

08 with 307k

My 2008 LT has just turned 307,000. I am a courier and drive from 2000 to 3000 miles a week. Only major replacement was front hubs, and serp belt, other than tires, struts, and front brakes. Still has original rear brakes, and still in decent shape. She still gets 30.1 mpg on a regular basis. Love my ride.
