I have a 2007 LS. 150000 miles and runs smooth as a baby's bottom. No leaks, still gets 25mpg in town and 30 on the interstate. Had to replace rotors, sway bar end links, and sway bar bushings when I bought it. Nothing else though. I love my HHR.

2009 SS Half Panel, 194,000 miles.

It'll be up for sale this month, but I'm not sure what I'll ask for it.

It's been a great vehicle. I drove it (99% on highways) from here to Maine, to Buffalo, to Pittsburgh, to North Carolina for work. It's only had one or two sets of brakes, and the oil's been changed faithfully every 5,000 miles since day one.

I recently rehabbed my Honda Element, and will drive that 'til I figure out what to do next.

I WOULD'VE bought a new SS if Chevy still made 'em.

Why do they want $1400 more than it's worth? Are they throwing something in? Extended warranty?

2007 with 151,300

Hi,

First post here. Glad I found this forum!!! This my first HHR.. I had found and bought a 2005 Monte Carlo with 53,000 miles on it. An older couples car that never saw the winter!!!!then on April 1st some fool ran into the back of it and totaled it. Over $10,000 damage. It booked for $8,000.

Anyway I went to my dealer and there staring me in the face was this HHR. I looked it over drove it and told the salesman to hold it till the next day.. I called him that after noon and told him to get it ready. Oil change and trans fluid change also.

The cost was out the door $5,400. The car had 149,000 on it. The only thing I had to do to it after a month was New Struts and a cabin air filter.
Which that filter had NEVER BEEN CHANGED!!!

This is a great group!! Getting a lot of info!!!
