I just changed the frame on mine a couple of days ago and still have both of them intact!

Mine was delivered without plugs in the lower holes as well. It's not a good idea to allow water to infiltrate the lift gate, so some sort of remedy is definitely called for.

Mine fell out shortly after purchase. The dealer's body shop installed new ones and made sure they were well planted.

Wow, I guess I should give a shout out to my Chevy dealer, Buff Whelan in Sterling Heights MI, as not only did they make certain everything was in place, they kept my HHR inside until I picked it up (I had the rear spoiler installed). They even washed it and vacuumed the carpet when I took it in for an oil change.
I know where I'll be buying my next new car....

I just got my HHR on Monday... And the rubber pieces were missing too. Plan on going to the Dealership and getting a pair. Maybe extras, just in case they fall off.

Just got back from the dealership. The salesman pulled a pair right off the HHR in the Showroom!!

Got rid of the 30 day tag today and wondered what I'd find behind it.



I had the bumpers, and if I tighten the plate real good, there's not bounce/rattle when closing the hatch.
