How Long did it take and Any last minute tips?

I have had my HHR ordered since the 4th of September and expect to get it before the weeks out. It is now on the slow train from Louisiana. I live in Georgia. It seems longer then normal. What has been your experience? Did anyone get a discount or special interist rate other than the norm?

I herd that you can get a discount of $1000 if you have a GMC credit card.

I am getting mine this week, getting it for 19,800 for the 2LT loaded except for leather. The salesman gave me the true GM employee price on it. I got really lucky

Where did you hear that? I have a GMC cc, but I think you need the points, you don't just get $1,000 off for having the card. Let me know

Your Very lucky. I got mine for 23K without leather. I did get a spolier, side certain airbags, the better rims for my LT2

it should take 8 weeks from ordering. the dealership should be able to pull the vehicle info from the plant. it is especially easy if the vehicle has a vin number for it. thats how i track the special orders for my customers.

as for gm card discount, i didnt hear anything about it. but if you are using employee discount you cannot combine offers unless it is the gm extended family card. but i havent heard of an extra 1000 off just because of a card. you can take additional money off with the extended family card, but only if you have the points on it. if there are any questions, you can take you card to your salesman and they can run it in finance though the computers.

Thanks, I will get mine Monday for sure. Do you know if the dealers are still offering the employee discount to the public on the HHR?
