How to: removal of coin pocket in front of shifter?

Looked and could not find the (how to) of the removal of the coin area in front of the shifter does the Radio Faceplate have to be removed to get that little piece out, I lifted up the rubber part and shook my head I would like to paint to match if i can.

Not big deal. Remove the rubber cover. There are a big hole. I just pull it up. Just consider that in the front are a couple of clips.

Nope. After removing the rubber insert, I just reach in and kinda squeeze to get some traction and pull up. Pops right out.
