I did my own paintless Dent Repair

Hello guys and girls,

I just did my own paintless dent repair today. Its almost 100% perfect. Here is an before and After Pictures.

BEFORE

TOOLS

1) Dent Puller Cost $5.00
2) Water (Free thanks to mother Nature)
3) My own arm strength

AFTER

Its about 90% better then it was once was. How do you take off the plactic parts behind the rear hatch. I was unable to pull off the pannels. Has anyone attempted to do so. I would love to see what I can do in back of the metal. I'm think someone on this site might now. It ding looks much better then it did before. However I think with some extra monkey grease I can get it to look 100%. Thats why i'm hoping to get the pannels off to see if there is anything I can do in the back it to mold it back into place.

90% better? That looks 1000% better, nice job. I would assume you would pull it off just like any other body panel in the car. I noticed a couple of pins in the bottom opening and closing the hatch but I have never taken that one off.

I'm a modest type of guy. I'm going to get the car washed soon. I think it would look better once the car is 100% clean. I did notice those pins. But I still could not figure out how to take off the pannels. I think CJ might know.

According to what I've seen on TV infomercials, the suction cups come in different sizes. You should be able to get smaller ones to get the rest of that out with.

I just gave it a couple of more tries. I looks even a bit more better. I'm going to take her out for a car wash. I will post pictures of it when I come back. This was the first time I ever attempted to repair a dent.

Nice job. This gives hope for any of us who might find ourselves in a similar situation in the future. Don't give up on that back panel...

Looking good. That is how they are going to fix my roof dents from the deer hoofs, if not they have to repaint the roof also.

SIHHR, how come all these pics are in focus but the pics you took HERE are all out of focus? (I feel ripped off!)

P.S. - GOOD JOB!!! - on the dent. I think you should track down a 1" suction cup and get the rest out now. You can do it!
