Hardly Davidson-

I agree, some of the problems are directly due to a big nut behind the wheel..

Can't remember what a 1947 yamahaha looks like ?

Or re-sale value for even a new rice-a-roni ?

Nope no reason to hate my HHR either...

Don't like your HHR, go buy a Toyota.... Those owners are real happy these days......

They may have less rattles.... But at least my HHR stops and goes when I want it to.

And mine has no rattles.

I dont hate my HHR just that there should not be a bracket on the engine that saws threw loom and cuts wires in the harness. That requires a new wire harness.

It's just to small for me and my Colorado is a POS, I've only got around 15K on it and it rattles like crazy and now I'm afraid the heater core is leaking. I'm shopping for a Toyota as a matter of fact probably getting the Tacoma.

I'd much rather have a rattle Chevrolet than a Toyota that won't stop and has a gas pedal that won't release...not a good combination!

The reason I love my HHR: My previous car was a Chevy Cavalier. Ok. Your Chevy Cavalier, regardless of model type/style is an entry-level car. No automatic door locks or electric windows... it was a 2-door coupe so the doors were heavy and a ***** to open and close without hitting other cars... check engine light always on (despite 4 trips to various shops who all said they couldn't figure out why it was on, so they'd turn it off and later it'd come back on again). When one thing would go wrong, I'd fix it. Then something else would go wrong. Soon I was putting more money into it than it was worth, and recently it went tits up with a slow leak in the coolant system, and the shop said it would be $2600 - $3100 to fix. Screw that, the car now is at most only worth $1200. So there it sits, in my driveway, waiting for a new owner. And now, just around the block my new 2006 silver HHR is parked, sparkling in the sunshine. It had 66479 miles when I got it, and its on its way to 67000 miles. I'm going on a road trip to Nevada (form Seattle) at the end of the month, and never would've been able to do that with my Cavalier. I'd have had to rent a car which would've been so expensive! And I just hauled a large 12' tree home in the HHR the other night. The first night I had it, me and my gf put all the seats down while parked at the beach, and christened it (tmi?)... my only complaint is that whoever put the tires on it, put real agressive tread tires so it grips everything in the road. And I live in the city, so the streets are crap. Potholes aplenty! I had to fix a fuze to make the radio work, and the actuator for the A/C is going out, slowly, but apart from that it is an amazing car. I decided against an after-market sunroof, but am still going to some day get a roof rack. I think I finally lucked out with a vehicle!
