You are all wrong. I figured it out! It's a pointer included so you can show people the really important parts of your HHR, such as this button here you push to open the secondary glovebox:

Actually, it's Chevy's answer to SoCal's popular stubby antenna.

It's the prototype BIG JOHNSON option for '07.

Any chance someones screwing with you? I worked with a guy named Butch who everyday would add 1/2 a gallon of gas to a co-workers new car. This co-worker drove 50 miles each way. Needless to say all we heard was how great the gas milage was in his new car....that was until Butch stopped adding gas two weeks later. Of coarse he took it to the dealer to have them check it out complaining of expected gas mileage.
