Insurance Info
Interesting. I have never paid attention to my insurance ratings. My LS is a 12 as you said. My Ford Ranger is a 7. My Cadillac and my Wagoneer are both 13s. And my Fiero is also a 12. That is the cool thing about Fieros. You can put bigger motors in them, fiberglass Ferrari bodies, and all other kinds of upgrades and they still insure like a Fiero.
It is on your declarations page of your insurance paper work they send you. Of course, I never keep all that stuff but my insurance company has all that stuff online. On mine it is listed in the slot called 'Symbol'.
State Farm must code their's differently.... Under the "Class" catagory, it says "very little".
But honestly, it must be coded differentlly. It has numbers and letters and then numbers and letters.

I asked the ins lady if there was a way for me to access this info so I could stop bothering her but she has not made it available. This has cooled me off as to getting an SS. I cannot see paying relatively high ins for a four cylinder station wagon. Too old to see any sense in that......
