Cool... thanks for the tip...

I'm within that weight range myself so I may just give that a try next time.

Hmm...I might not want to stand on them. I weigh ... let's just say ... more. LOL
If a guy who is 300lbs says he can stand on them (no I am NOT that heavy or close) I will stand on mine (if I ever get them...sigh...lol).

Hey Angel, on my sticker that was on the window of mine it shows the running boards to be a dealer installed item as well as other item installed @ the dealer.

Me too. I bought them because I liked the look. I thought the car looked naked without them

Having installed them myself, I can say the 3 brackets on each side are pretty hefty and installed with a Riv-Nut thing that is torqued into position.

I would assume that the factory ones are installed the same way.

Dealer puts them on, but they are shipped inside the car from the factory. So if they are ordered with the car they are on the sticker.

When I looked at mine, they had just unloaded it and they were inside the car. Dealer still had to install.

Dealers no longer put on the boards. The 07's come from the factory already installed. A service guy from my dealership stated that the 07 factory boards are a little different from the 06 boards that came seperate, but I cant tell you what the difference is.....
