Just bought a 2009 HHR 2LT and was wondering if someone could help me with a lighting question.
Does the HHR have bulbs in the shift indicator or is it supposed to be lit by the little light on the ceiling that lights up
the window switches. My 2009 Malibu had the ceiling lights but also bulbs in the indicator. Also do the lock switches on the doors have replaceable bulbs?

Welcome to the site. My 07 is had the shift indicator lights from the under side I assume the 09 would be the same. Do a search and you will find info on shifter and console removal. As for the window switches I don't think the bulbs are serviceable.

There is a "PRNDL" indicator bulb buried in the shifter assembly, here's probably the best thread on dealing with its replacement.
