Issue with 2007 HHR - just started today

My wonderful little halfa has been acting up and I don't have a clue what is wrong.

My Halfa's horn/alarm has been going off for no reason. It does 3 honks and the lights flash. It doesn't matter if it's locked, unlocked or if the alarm is set. Any one have any ideas what it could be and how to fix it. It's going to drive me crazy if it keeps it up all night.

Anything showing on the DIC when Key is on? Try setting the system with a window down then open the door to see if it goes off. Is the lock on the dash lit up when eng. is running ? Try pulling the Fuse at the battery in the rear it's on the POS. cable to see if it resets Just my

Mine did it once. But I think that I confused the lock/alarm when I set it with the door lock button and remote fob. I opened the door before the default time for the door lock to actually lock with both operations. I've never been able to do it again, so it was either a fluke or there must be a combination of door button/remote fob operations that caused my to do it. Happened only once at about 500 mile mark. Hasn't happened since(2300 miles). I thought it might be how I configured it on DIC, but it's a "I dunno" thing for me.

ok figured it out. Seems someone (who won't be named ) but the extra key fob in the washer and then the dryer. I figure all the bouncing around something kept hitting the panic button and setting the alarm off.
