It's finally here

Almost 11 weeks later, our Daytona Blue 1LT is here and it is a sweet ride! I was under the hood yesterday looking around and seen on a wire harness: "Made in Mexico"! If the same company makes the wire harnesses for our HHRs that make the wire harneses for the general aviation industry here in Wichita; we are all in trouble!! The harneses for our airplanes are JUNK!

Hey Neighbor!

I'm just a tad SE of Wichita in Winfield.

Where did you purchase your HHR? I'm having a bit of an issue with the Park City dealer who sold us ours.

I too was a little preturbed with the Park City dealer! I went up the road and bought from the Chevy dealer in Newton. They are TOTALLY different to any dealer in Wichita.

Don't worry, all - Cinco de Mayo, tortillas, and (the original) Tecate and Corona are all from Mexico - you'll learn to love'em all, just like your HHR!

Congrats on the new ride and welcome to the forum. You'll really enjoy being here...it's a great bunch of people who are very knowledgeable. Looking forward to seeing you around the boards.

We (hubby, actually) got a good deal on ours. What I'm having issue with is the hail damage that we discovered upon getting her home. I've made THREE calls to them to set up an appointment to have it repaired and feel like I'm getting the run around, big time.

If that was me and they weren't returning my phone calls, I'd hop in the car and take it back up there to the dealership and show it to them. You bought a NEW car...not a used car and you shouldn't have to settle for anything less.
