Just found this site...

I bought my 08 HHR Panel last October, Gets quite a bit of attention as the only other panels around here are from Circuit City....

Here's a shot of mine, did a little striping

I want these wheels: (caution-photoshop)

After removing the hubcaps I found these:

So I painted them, and now have this look: (caution- crappy cell phone pic)

Next is a set of Fall 07 blackout headlights, and maybe the SS grille and bumper

Welcome Mongo,

I too wanted nicer wheels but until I can find the ones I really want we just painted my wheel covers. I get a lot of compliments on them everyone thinks they are wheels. Yours is a good idea also. Again welcome and you will not find a nicer group of people on here with lots of good ideas for mods.

Kris

Did that setup long ago..
If you want a more clean up look.
take off the wheels and paint the drum/disc area with the wheel mounts black,
second, add Gorilla Black Chrome lug nuts,
third, add customized dust/grease cap painted black..
see below..

Looks nice, I may get some16' trim rings as I like the "shiny rim" look. I had planned to get a set of plastic lugnut covers but I will probably get the black chrome ones in your pic. I did the red caliper paint the same way, where did you get the drilled rotor?

1concepts for the front.
