Key chimes

I noticed today that I didn't have a chime when the key was in the ignition and the door was open. I tried the search and was not successful. I guess I wasn't entering the correct question. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Some of these links will direct you to replace the door speakers, if you have replaced the speakers already, check the wiring connections.

Oldblue I suspected that might be the case. The speakers are the original. I guess it is time tot start looking for replacements.

Do the door chimes and the signal light sound use the same speaker. It is a 2010.

All of the sounds come through the left front speakers. But, remember the frequency of the chimes and the speakers.

The tweeters are on the same wires as the door speakers. Some frequencies will only be heard on the tweeter, some only on the door some on both. "Hearing" is subjective.

Donbrew that explains it. The signal sound is a higher pitch. As soon as I get a little better I am going to tackle the door speaker. I am still too wobbley to tackle it yet but it is improving at least the vertical double vision is gone and I am back being able to drive.
