Another instance where the books are wrong. The GM part number referenced is https://www.wholesalegmpartsonline.c.../88876501.html
Fits all HHRs, goes all the way back to the 1995 Cavalier. We all get the same bushing from the factory.

Ok, then how come the bushings in Oldblue, the BlackSwan are the hinged type and the bushings in several SS’s I’ve replaced for friends are the solid rubber ? I’ve done a few Cobalt SS’s and those are solid rubber also.
It doesn’t matter much now because all the bushings I see listed now for the LS/LT FE1 or 3 or the SS FE5 are all solid now , must be something about they last longer, or are cheaper to manufacture.
Point is , I wouldn’t hang a pair of LCA’s in the wall in the shop again waiting as a replacement, just order a set of Moog or AC Delco arms and be done with it . These ones here I’ve had for 5 or 6 years now.
On the other hand , if I owned an SS with the FE5 suspension, I would order a set of those now, they are out of production 10 years now and are specifically SS because of the ball Joints

The FE5 AC Delco bushings I installed on July 28, 2020 failed in August 2021. The solid rubber bushing cracked loose and pulled clean out of the metal ring . I’ve switched back to the Moog K201285 , they are much better, easier to press into the arm .

Thanks for the number. When I tried Moog k201235 nothing came up.
Reason I was interested is because I put the K201285 joint in back in February and was curious as to what your upgrade was.
I have to remove my LCAs soon and will be able to check those bushings for wear. Hope they don't fail as your original upgrades did.
