You should look at getting a half panel, where the far back rear window is solid...

I'm thinking about it. I do have the option since I'm gonna order it new, that is unless the dealer can locate one for me with exactly what I want.

oh also i would think the 2.2 manual is a little better, when i was looking for my hhr i couldnt find any manuals and im still sad about it today lol

ufvj217, I looked at a preowned 2LT on the 'net and had an appointment at the dealer to look at it, but on the way I stopped to look at a preowned SS at another dealer. Fortunately (or unfortunately) I took the SS for a test drive. And now that's what I own.

Be sure to try out both before you decide.

ive noticed some HHR's have window switches on the doors, and some in the center console. did this change on certain years, or is it an option?

Switched from center to doors starting with 08 SS and then all 09 models.

oh so if i buy brand new, mine will be on the doors. good to know :) i see so many different options on these things lol. its like my MINI cooper, theres so many different ones on the road becuase theres so many way's you can order them!

last question (for now lol)

the audio controls on the steering wheel...im pretty sure the answer is yes, but they make a harness to make those work with an aftermarket radio right? i know my friends 08 yukon works with his alpine indash.

edit- see these 2009 seats, they have that gray insert.. ive never seen a full black seat in cloth
