I am looking into installing a limiter/governor or seeing if it's possible to lower the speed in the factory settings... I'm more of a techie than a mechanic, so I have to wonder if it's possible to change things in the computer. That's cheaper than adding hardware. Has anyone done this and if so, how? Thanks.

FWIW. The speed limiter can be changed in the program. Anything you try to come up with will no doubt throw a CEL.
