Lower is Better....Right?

Couldn't help myself, after seeing all the nice rides on here, I just had to do it. Yep, That's right! new springs on the way from truckshop at a good price. I'm debating on doing the front but once I have the rears on I will see how it sits. It may be to low to not do the fronts, either way I'm covered and I did get the alignment kit. Can't wait!! been a long time since I had a car to fix up, usually I'm raising vehicles. Last thing I lowered was my new 82 s10. Well this is going to be fun, only way it could have been more fun is if I could have got the SS I wanted. I'll get some pics when I'm done, not sure when but soon as I can, let it warm up a little. BTW when the wife ask why, it's ur guys fault! lol

Post some pics when you get her down in the weeds, and we can split the blame.

IMO, the HHR looks best with a bit of front rake to it, so if you're dropping the rear, you've got to drop the front as well.........

The rake does look good, more than likely it will be dropped all way around.

I said that lowering reduces wind resistance and increases fuel economy, which is true, umm... I think.

WOW, she got a sister! A woman who is OK with getting car parts for Valentines Day is awesome! Oh wait, I got my wife car parts for Christmas. Maybe they could be friends.

SS Fan any woman that wouldn't like that is definitely not in to cars unless that diamond she's had her eye on is huge.

Prod, nice try maybe I'll use that along with.. getting older and my back can't take it anymore, it was too high!

Lower is not so good in deep snow

I would not want to lower my HHR. I have to drive in the deep snow that we have gotten for the past two years in Kansas. I think you would be much more likely to drag you floor pan and possible get stuck.
