That article cannot be true. Only Toyotas and Hondas are capable of that kind of high mileage.

I had a 93 Silverado that had 650,000 miles on it. I was the 2nd owner. It ran like smooth. No problems... Modern engines will go forever if you treat them right. I retired that car after I was rear ended by somebody looking for the glasses while driving...
