Question Map lights won't turn off!

Has anyone has a problem with the map light on the rear view mirror not turning off. The buttons beside them do not turn them off. The car is off and locked and the lights are still on an hour after locking the car. I'm concerned that the battery will drain if I don't figure out how to turn them off.

CK the two bottons on the mirror to be sure they are off in is off, close the door and wait a min.or two see if they go off. Also is it a 07 the dimminer switch on the dash might be on also

"note" you can not make them go off if the door is open.

Thanks Oneton,

You were correct. I have the 2007 model and the dimmer switch was too turned too far to the right. Although there is a definite click on the switch, I must have had it just a little too far to the right and the reading lights stayed on. Thanks for the tip.
