General HHR Discuss anything related to the Chevy HHR that doesnt seem to fit into the more specific categories below.

Is it me, or just the nice weather?

Don't get me wrong, I am a car nut and notice when I see another HHR, usually see a couple a day... same ones... to and from work; but yesterday was an all out onslaught of HHR's. Seen them everywhere!

I still think it's funny that I NEVER knowingly saw an HHR before February. I mean, I don't think I knew they existed...then I had to rent a car, got a silver LS that I drove for a week. Suddenly I was seeing them everywhere, and was totally smitten.

I was actually looking for them before I got mine last year, there weren't many around but I loved the style. This burgh where I live had 3...... Mine was the fourth. One month later they were all over the place. I think someone dumped a bunch of ex-rentals for cheap.

Now there's more than ever........

I had researched them online at a few sites (including here) and after reading some reviews and and actually talking with a person or two that owned them, I was committed to purchasing one. Glad I did, I've been very happy with my ex-rental. Now I see more of them locally too; even though I had been watching for them before.

It's got nothing to do with the weather as I see so many everyday year round.

Don't get them wet or fuel them after midnight.

There are four of us where I work who own HHRs. Me and another guy bought one a week apart.

Today's count was down to 12, which is about normal for these parts, but there was an SS sighting on I-85! Black panel, looked fairly stock, Georgia plates...passed him so he could see the HHR.net decal on mine. Smiley face front plate with a mesh grill, sound like anyone here?
