Question Mileage

Just got my HHR about a week ago and it had about 55000km on it...Was just wondering how the HHRs hold up after alot of km been put on them and what type of problems I should look out for...Thanks

HHRs have a mixed bag of problems. Some have had many and I have 69,000+ miles on my '06 HHR and have very few issues. I replaced tires at 53,000 miles and struts and shocks a couple of weeks ago just because of odd tire wear that realignment and rebalanced did not correct. I still have lots of brake life left as I'm easy on brakes.

It just depends. We have seen most go many miles with little or no issues. While we also see some have many issues even at low miles.

We were just talking about this else where. There is no pattern or clues why most are very good and some even built on the same day may have many issues.

My '08 has just turned 20K. It's too young to have any issues yet (knock on wood).

2008 2LT 2.4 just about ready to hit 50,000 - not a single issue. The engine is wonderful.

LIES! Those are the Friday Night builds I tell you! Seriously, though, as he said, there will always be a few here and there that have problems. The nice thing is, it sounds like, yours is probably still under warranty for a while (at least powertrain-wise) so you shouldn't have too much to worry about.

Hopefully yours will be one of the trouble-free cars.

Talking

You read about problems more, because it seems the owners that are not having problems, have nothing to post about or issue to solve..

Mine is doing fine, BTW.

It all depends on how much the ones that built your car had to drink that day
